Orange wood vase, Bowl 124

Iris 1, 6x4.5 .jpg

Stump from a Washington Navel Orange tree hollowed and then carved to form pedals from the trunk buttresses. Bark burnished to reveal cambium. The varied organic colors and flower form are meant to be reminiscent of Newcomb pottery. 10" maximum width x 9" minimum width x 12" tall. The vase is usable with a glass insert to hold water. SOLD
